| Friend, I'm going to get right to the point: today is one of the most important days in this whole campaign for you to step up and support my friend Terry McAuliffe.  Terry is facing his very last fundraising deadline tonight. After midnight, he'll publish a finance report for everyone to see. It's critical Terry hits his goal before then. The press looks at these reports to measure a campaign's momentum and — more importantly — Terry's whole game plan for the next five weeks is based on getting there. Will you donate $5 to help Terry hit his Rapid Response Fund goal before midnight? I know you've stood with Terry in the past, so you already know he's the right person to lead Virginia forward. But maybe you don't know just how urgent his election is. Here's one example I keep thinking about: Virginia's next governor gets to decide whether the Commonwealth accepts Medicaid expansion. Accepting would create tens of thousands of jobs and provide healthcare coverage for hundreds of thousands of Virginians who need it the most. That seems like an easy decision to me, and Terry strongly supports expansion. But his opponent would reject it, and reject the opportunity to create those jobs and help those uninsured Virginians. Whoever wins this election will make dozens of decisions just as important as that one. I trust Terry will make the right choices, but he won't have the chance if people like you and I don't step up to support him at critical moments like this one.
