But maybe you don't know just how urgent his election is. Here's one example I keep thinking about: Virginia's next governor gets to decide whether the Commonwealth accepts Medicaid expansion. Accepting would create tens of thousands of jobs and provide healthcare coverage for hundreds of thousands of Virginians who need it the most. That seems like an easy decision to me, and Terry strongly supports expansion. But his opponent would reject it, and reject the opportunity to create those jobs and help those uninsured Virginians. Whoever wins this election will make dozens of decisions just as important as that one. I trust Terry will make the right choices, but he won't have the chance if people like you and I don't step up to support him at critical moments like this one.
