Re: Ken Cuccinelli's extreme divorce bill by Michelle Kleppe

Hey again,

Our volunteers hear it at the doors all the time. When people know about Ken Cuccinelli's super extreme record — on women's health care, equal rights for gay Virginians, even divorce — they know how important it is for them to vote this year.

But as hard as we'll try (and we'll try very hard), we won't reach everyone in person.

So I was hoping you'd help us reach some of them online. Check out Robby's email below and share this message about the divorce restrictions Cuccinelli supported with voters on Facebook.

Thanks!

Imagine being a mom in a bad marriage — and having to deal with extreme government regulations that make it harder for you to get a divorce over your husband's objections.

In 2008, Ken Cuccinelli wrote a bill that would have done just that:
Ken Cuccinelli's attempt to enact one of the most extreme divorce laws in the country is just another example of his record of using his position as Attorney General and State Senator to attempt to regulate the most personal decisions Virginians can make — who you marry, what kind of contraception you use, and when you can end a bad marriage.

We've identified voters who'd be influenced by knowing about Cuccinelli's record. Some are on the fence and may be persuaded to support Terry, and some existing supporters may be more likely to make it to the polls.

Will you share this message on Facebook? We have a cool new tool that makes sure you're sharing it with the voters who need to hear it the most.

There's a lot on the line this November. Thanks for sharing and letting your friends know.
