Friend -- There was basically no point this week where you could have turned on the news and not seen why the work we're doing is so important. If you had been on Twitter late Tuesday night, you saw a dramatic showdown over women's rights in Texas. If you had been watching MSNBC on Wednesday morning, you saw a country celebrate as the Supreme Court struck down DOMA. And if you picked up the New York Times on Friday, you read about a historic vote in the Senate to pass bipartisan immigration reform. So many things we fought for in last year's election are happening right now. That's why I'm asking you to chip in $5 or more in the next few hours before midnight's fundraising deadline.
