I’m very excited about the opportunity we have here in Virginia to elect Ed Gillespie to the United States Senate this November. Not only will we send a strong champion of conservative causes to Washington, but we’ll send Senator Mark Warner, who has voted with Barack Obama 97% of the time, packing!
As Ed likes to say, we need a Senator who will be a check on President Obama, not a blank check for him!
The Democrats are clearly worried about this, so they’re already launching misleading attacks against Ed. We need to help him fight back.
For decades, Ed has played a crucial role in conservative victories, including helping to draft the Contract with America, helping to secure the passage of the first balanced budget in decades, and leading the charge for the Republican takeover of state legislatures.
I was proud to have his support during my campaign in 2013. Ed has always been there for me and for conservatives like me around the country. Now it’s our turn to help him!
